Cabernet Sauvignon DOC Alto Adige
A wine of strong character
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is impetuous in the nose and opulent on the palate.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon vines can express all of their typical nature in the mild climate of Lake Caldaro and on the sandy, loamy soil.
The wine has an intensive ruby-red colour and an aroma that is typical for the variety, with elegant spices and notes of blackcurrant, leather and black pepper. It is full-bodied, round and youthful on the palate, with a long aftertaste and a good freshness.
Our Cabernet Sauvignon pairs best with quick-roasted meat dishes, dark poultry, gratins, pastry dishes and terrines.
The thick, crimson red colour is characteristic of this wine with easy garnet and reflexes.
Typical, delicately spicy cassis flavour. Hints of leather, tar and black pepper.
Medium-bodied, full and well-rounded, albeit youthful. Rich grippy tannins and a long, lingering finish.
