Cuvée "Chorus Madrigal" - DOC Alto Adige Merlot - Cabernet
A lively two-tone sound
Just as the original Madrigal from the 14th century was made up of two voices, so is the “Chorus Madrigal” cuvée a composition of two red wine varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot constituting the majority (85%). Both varieties grow at the Seehof in Kaltern, close to Lake Kaltern on gentle southeast facing hillsides at an altitude of just 230 metres above sea level; ideal conditions for these red wine vines that prefer warm soils and a mild climate to release their full potential.
Well-saturated ruby colour with light violet hues.
Notes of wild berries, black currant, vanilla and delicate hints of roasted coffee.
The Chorus Madrigal is fruity in the mouth with a solid tannic structure, well-integrated wood and a pleasant, lingering finish.
