Dark deep ruby, delicate intriguing berry aromas, juicy, with grippy tannins, well balanced.

A cuvée of distinctive Lagrein and smooth Merlot. A fresh fruit bouquet of strawberries and blackcurrants. It is inviting on the palate with precise tannins and a playful freshness and fullness. Our Cuvée RÉNIER is a quaffable wine and a versatile companion to a meal.

 

Manual harvesting and selection of the grapes. Mash fermentation under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, ageing in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels for 12 months. Assemblage 2 to 3 months before bottling.

Kaltern, Seehof: 230 m above sea level, medium-heavy, humus-rich sandy clay soil on calcareous gravel in the immediate vicinity of Lake Kaltern

Ideal with Speck smoked ham or bacon, sausage, mature cheese, delicately spiced vegetables, pasta, and meat dishes.
