Marei

Alto Adige Chardonnay, DOC

Deep golden yellow, exotic aromas, flinty notes, creamy, powerful, and a long finish.

The Chardonnay MAREI represents stylish opulence. With yellow peach, ripe mango, citrus aromas, and delicate flinty notes, the complexity of the wine is heralded in the bouquet. Fullness and acidity are elegantly balanced. The mouthfeel is round, with velvety fruit and well-integrated tannins. A full-bodied, complex Chardonnay with good minerality and a long finish.

Manual harvesting and selection of the grapes from historic vineyards with the oldest vines. Gentle pressing and pre-clarification through sedimentation. Fermentation under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks (50%) and in French tonneaux/barriques (50%) with 100% malolactic fermentation. After 12 months of ageing on the fine lees, bottling and ageing in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months follow.
