In 1892, the Preyhof estate was registered as Kaltern’s first closed wine estate in the land registry. It belongs to Castel Sallegg and is situated with its vineyard in Kaltern-Mitterdorf, nestled on the slopes behind Sallegg Castle. By Kaltern’s standards, it is remarkably close to the heavens, the mountains, and paradise itself. What was once used by winemakers – the old barn and cellar rooms – has been transformed: into a grand hall, a loggia, and a chillout lounge. Spaces of inspiration for unforgettable celebrations.

Especially during the warm summer months, when the gentle evening breeze drifts through the vines, the loggia becomes a haven of refreshing ease. Its open architecture makes it the perfect spot for whispered secrets and flushed cheeks, for a waltz, and for the first – and last – glass of wine.
